About Us

Forensic Applications Consulting Technologies Inc., was incorporated in 2003 by Christine A. Carty (President) and Caoimhín P. Connell (Industrial Hygienist).  With over two decades of industrial hygiene and regulatory compliance experience, FACTs has earned the reputation for no-nonsense, objective, scientific investigations. 

FACTs is actively involved in international standards committees, legislative committees, and rule making.  We are actively involved in various National (US) and International committees and organizations.

Who We Are

Caoimhín P. Connell
Forensic Industrial Hygienist

Mr. Connell has over 20 years experience as a practicing Industrial Hygienist.  Prior to practicing Industrial Hygiene, Mr. Connell had approximately 10 years experience as an analytical chemist for such prestigious organizations as General Foods Corporation (Ireland), Hazen Research, and the EPA CLP Colorado School of Mines Research Institute, where Mr. Connell employed US EPA SW846, NIOSH, and MCAWW analysis protocols.

Mr. Connell has a background in analytical chemistry and microbiological applications in mining related activities, and environmental chemistry and fugitive emission migration modeling.  Mr. Connell was a radiation safety officer for approximately 16 years with a notable Industrial Hygiene consultation firm, and has been the Radiation Safety Officer on several ionizing radiation sites, including Denver Radium Sites, and CERCLA/SARA NTP sites involved in RCRA remediation.

As an  active, sworn law enforcement officer in the State of Colorado, Mr. Connell has been nominated as a Subject Matter Expert on the DoD/FBI InterAgency Board (Health, Medical, and Responder Safety SubGroup) and contracted by the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, CRCPI to travel all through Colorado providing law enforcement sensitive and general public information on clandestine drug laboratories.   

Christine Carty
Owner and President

Ms. Carty has an extended background in criminal justice administration and with that, a realistic sense of political needs. Prior to the formation of FACTs,  Ms. Carty designed and operated her own consulting company mainly dealing with specific statewide criminal justice issues.
