Forensic Applications Consulting Technologies Inc., was incorporated in 2003 by Christine A. Carty (President) and Caoimhín P. Connell (Industrial Hygienist).  With over two decades of industrial hygiene and regulatory compliance experience, FACTs has earned the reputation for no-nonsense, objective, scientific investigations.

At the heart of our service is a commitment to objective, tenable, scientific principles and methodologies.

Defensible data rely on the establishment of sound data quality objectives and articulable quality control and quality assurance.

The establishment of hypothesis testing and use of state of the art and standard industry practices to develop defensible arguments ensure that the work product produced by our staff can face— and survive– the rigors of peer review and, if necessary, the trier of fact.

Our staff have experience in developing sampling and testing protocols for projects as “ordinary” as a residential inspection for household moulds or as exotic as tracer gas migration studies for the National Center for Atmospheric Research; all using the same, sound scientific concepts and controls.

Our studies and investigations are designed to address the unknown, present objective information in a tenable fashion based on sound scientific foundations and documented practices and procedures.  Our analytical and technical support teams include some of the finest laboratories in the country.   

We take investigations beyond “cook-book chemistry” and mindless collection of samples, and employ goal oriented problem solving with solid foundations in scientific principles.

The work product is a fully documented report of observations, rationale, protocol, conclusions and recommendations.
